Our Save Money, Save the Planet projects is a broad project which seeks to tackle the impact of the cost of living and climate crisis in our community. We do this through a range of ever changing and evolving initiatives.
Free School Uniform
We run a free school uniform pop up swap shop in the charity shop each Wednesday afternoon 1-4pm. Come and browse our uniforms, pick up what you need and donate your old items. You will also see us doing Free School Uniform Road Shows at local primary schools. If your school would like to get involved please get in touch.
Tea Time Clubs
We host a tea time club for families with young children upstairs at our charity shop. A space to get a free nutritious meal, make friends, do homework and have a warm space to be.
Welcome Space
Throughout the winter months we run a welcome space upstairs at our charity shop. Free hot drinks, biscuits, crafts and a place to keep warm during the colder months.
Recycling and Reuse Awareness
We run regular campaigns in the community around Recycling and Reuse awareness including a recent campaign giving information to our community about the green bin changes and what can be recycled.
